Viktorija Vitiutina, a Master in International Film, is creative director at Bold Unicorn Entertainment and as such responsible for all matters which involve ideas, creativity, public relations, among others. Viktorija's interest in film and media started when she was studying sociology at the University of Vytautas Magnus in her hometown Kaunas. While specializing in visual sociology she went deep into the analysis of contemporary film and television industry and realised, that some things could be changed. Viktorija went on, left her country and took a master course at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Great-Britain, where she got a chance to extensively study the subject of International Film through its history, theory and practice.
Viktorija got involved into the television business starting as a runner in one of the leading North East England production companies and ultimately ending up as a show director at the biggest interactive TV company in Budapest, Hungary. Her involvement in visual performing art can be counted from her position as producer's assistant at contemporary dance company Ballet Lorent, where she was working on the “Angelmoth” project. Later Viktorija spent hundreds of hours on film sets as director's or producer's assistant (films “Wish” and “Ghost Hount” were released in 2007 in USA). She has also produced and directed her own short film “I.M.H.O.” and already finished two other scripts which are now in process of developing under the working titles “The Last Order” (short film) and “Cenozoic” (full feature film). Besides that she is the host of a local radioshow called Filmas. Moteris. Kava. (A Film, A Woman And Coffee) at Radio Station Gaudeamus in Kaunas, Lithuania, in which she goes behind the scenes of various films.
“I met Richard while working on a film festival in Lithuania”. Viktorija says. “I never thought our encounter would end up as a company. I guess the most important thing for us was just to dare. And we did. And now there is Bold Unicorn Entertainment”.
